Catechu is widely used for the local treatment of otitis and otorrhoea. Flavonoid principles of catechu have a significant anti- inflammatory effect. Useful in dental, oral, throat and tonsil infections. Mucolytic and promote sweetness of voice. Freshen ups the breath. Significant for the anti-inflammatory effect. Indication: Throat infections, Tonsillar, infections, Anti-inflammatory, Astringent, Antiseptic, Stomatitis, Sore throat, hoarseness, cough. Composition: Khadira Sar, Pushkara, Kakarshringi, Katphala, Bharangi, Haritaki, Lavanga, Shunthi, Maricha, Pippali, Ativisha, Krishna Jiraka, Yavaksara, Guduchi, Brihati, Kantakari, Bibhitaka. Dosage: 1 to 4 tablets to be taken in the morning and evening. Not more than 12 tablets in a day.
