Merizyme Tablet is used as digestive tablet. It promotes proper digestion by accelerating the digestion process in a balanced manner. Merizyme contains a rich formulation of Fungal Diastase, Papain, Niacinamide, Dimethicone and Activated Charcoal.
Role of key ingredients:
Fungal Diastase is a digestive Enzyme that helps in Carbohydrate Digestion. It helps in digestion of starch, carbohydrates, fats & Proteins. Fungal diastase is used as digestive aid in case of loss of appetite due to chronic illness, stomach fullness and indigestion.
Pepsin assists in digestion of carbohydrate and protein. Papain has enzymes that breakdown proteins and provide relief from pain and inflammation.
Niacinamide :Helps in release of energy & metabolism of Carbohydrates, Fats & Proteins. Sub clinical deficiency manifests as weakness, irritability, burning tongue etc.
Dimethicone reduces flatulence and relieves abdominal pain or discomfort, which is due to excessive gas in the digestive tract.
Activated charcoal is sometimes used to prevent poisons from being absorbed into the body. Taking alcohol with activated charcoal might decrease how well activated charcoal works to prevent poison absorption. Activated charcoal absorbs substances in the stomach and intestines.
