Enteroquinol 250mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs known as intestinal amebicides. It is used to treat worm infections and infections of the intestine caused by an organism called amoeba (intestinal amebiasis). It works by killing the infection causing worms and thus treats your infection.
Enteroquinol 250mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
Some people may experience a headache, nausea, vomiting, abnormal liver function tests and fever as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve or persist for a longer duration. You may be monitored with blood tests and liver function tests throughout your treatment.
Enteroquinol 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine which helps treat parasitic worm infections. It works by killing the worms and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. These killed worms are then passed out along with stools. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Enteroquinol 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Quiniodochlor belongs to the class of drugs called as intestinal amoebicides. It exerts its action by directly killing the trophozoites (adult parasite) responsible for production of cysts (infective form of parasite). .
