Lgpin D Tablet

Lgpin D Tablet is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. Type-2 diabetes mellitus (also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes) is a medical condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal due to insulin deficiency, insulin resistance, or both.

Lgpin D Tablet contains Dapagliflozin (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors) and Linagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor). It works by reducing the sugar production by liver cells and delays sugar absorption from the intestines. Thus, Lgpin D Tablet helps control blood sugar levels.

Lgpin D Tablet may cause certain side effects such as diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, hypoglycaemia, nausea, and vomiting. These are not common for every patient. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or bother you. Take Lgpin D Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Lgpin D Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the components in it. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and your health condition to rule out any unpleasant side effects/interactions.

Directions for Use

Take Lgpin D Tablet with or after food. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water; do not break, chew or crush it.

What if I have taken an overdose of Lgpin D Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Lgpin D Tablet may include low blood sugar, stomach pains, feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting) and dizziness. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
