It is used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus (type 1 and 2) to improve blood sugar control both in adults and children. It helps maintain the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.
Mixtard 30 HM 100IU/ml Penfill (3ml Each) is a combination of two types of insulin used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Together, they ensure rapid and consistent sugar control. It prevents long-term complications of high sugar level on your organs and blood vessels. This medicine should be used with regular exercise and a healthy diet for best results. Monitor your blood sugar regularly as it may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) as a side effect.
