Ocurest Plus New Eye Soothing Drops is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of allergic diseases of the eye. It relieves irritation, redness, and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning, discomfort, and other related symptoms.
Ocurest Plus New Eye Soothing Drops is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed in the label.
This medicine is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptom which you feel is caused by the medicine, let your doctor know. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.
Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. Individuals with glaucoma should not use this medicine. Ocurest Plus New Eye Soothing Drops gives rapid relief from symptoms of allergic eye disease such as redness, swelling, itching and watering of eyes. It helps soothe the eyes and reduces burning sensation. Ocurest Plus New Eye Soothing Drops also reduces infection and irritation in the eye. You can use Ocurest Plus New Eye Soothing Drops twice a day or as prescribed by the doctor. If you see no improvement even after a week, consult your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.

It activates the cold sensing chemical messenger, which gives a cooling effect. Camphor also provides a cooling effect. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning, also moisten the eyes. Borax has an antiseptic and antifungal (act against fungi) property, thus works as a preservative when added to Ocurest Plus New Eye Soothing Drops. This is how it treats allergic eye diseases.
