Tonoferon Syrup contains iron, folic acid and vitamin B12 as active ingredients. Iron is an essential mineral for the production of haemoglobin, which is responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body. Deficiencies of iron can lead to anaemia, fatigue and a weakened immune system. Colloidal iron is a form of iron that is easily absorbed by the body compared to other forms of iron. Folic acid is a B vitamin that is necessary for the production of new cells, including red blood cells. Vitamin B12 is another B vitamin that is important for the production of red blood cells, as well as for maintaining healthy nerve cells and DNA.
