Vasocon Injection is used in the treatment of life-threatening emergencies like severe allergic reaction and cardiac arrest. It rapidly relieves breathlessness and wheezing by relaxing the airways. It also stimulates the heart and increases the blood pressure.
Vasocon Injection also improves the swelling of face or tongue and hives seen in allergic reaction. It is given under the supervision of a doctor. Doctor may closely monitor your blood pressure, heart rate or ECG till you became stable. You should continue all your other medicines that are advised by the doctor for your long-term treatment even after this injection.
Common side effects associated with this medicine includes headache, restlessness, tremor, and palpitations. This medicine is used with caution for some people. Thus, if possible inform the doctor if you are suffering from any liver or kidney disease. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the other medications that you are taking regularly.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Adrenaline is an alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonist. It relaxes muscles in your lungs and relieves spasm, wheezing, and shortness of breath that occurs during a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis).
