In the past it was thought that improper eating habits and emotional stresses were the major causes of stomach ulcers. However, studies have now shown that 9 out of 10 ulcers are caused due an H. Pylori infection which one can pick up due to lack of clean water or proper sanitation, which unfortunately is prevalent in India.
H. Pylori bacteria causes chronic nonspecific gastritis and relapse of gastric and duodenal ulcers. It does so by implanting itself in the mucosal layer of our stomach, thereby damaging it which in turn exposes the epithelial layer to the digestive acids. These acids damage the epithelial layer and end up causing stomach ulcers. The most common symptoms associated with stomach ulcers are acidity, indigestion, beching, constipation, diarrhoea and nausea to name a few. H. Pylori is found in approximately 95% of the patients with active duodenal ulcers and it has been established that treating H. Pylori will result in reduced ulcer relapse rate.

Stomafit’s main ingredient is bismuth and it acts by coating the digestive system. This process cuts the nutrition supply for the bacteria and promotes local release of endogenous prostaglandins which help in the recovery of the epithelial cells and the mucosal lining. Hence, Stomafit reduces the irritation in the inner body and helps curtail the common gastric issues.

Stomafit also contains belladonna dry extract, thymol and menthol which are used in intestinal and biliary colic and spasmodic episodes. They also help in relieving gastric and intestinal flatulence.

Directions For Use:
