Kenacort Hexa Injection is a steroid. It is used for treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions such as severe allergic reactions, osteoarthritis, rheumatic disorders. It provides quick relief by preventing the release of substances that cause inflammation and by suppressing the immune system.
Kenacort Hexa Injection can be taken with or without food. Taking the medicine regularly at the right times increases its effectiveness. It is important to keep taking the medicine regularly until your doctor tells you it is safe to stop.
The most common side effects of this medicine include injection site reactions such as pain, swelling, redness. Patients may also experience other side effects such as reduction in bone density, upset stomach, weight gain, mood changes, and behavioral changes on taking the medicine.
Taking Kenacort Hexa Injection can also make it harder for you to fight off infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as fever or sore throat. This drug is not recommended during pregnancy and before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems.
