RABICIP INJECTION is used to manage acidity, heartburn, peptic ulcers, acid reflux, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It contains a medicine called Rabeprazole which is a Proton pump inhibitor that works by reducing gastric acid secretions.
Take RABICIP INJECTION 15-30 minutes before meals or as directed by the physician. Before taking inform your doctor if you have any liver problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have vitamin B12 deficiency, osteoporosis or any tumors in your stomach.
Do not take RABICIP INJECTION if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor. The most common side effects of taking RABICIP INJECTION are oral sores, constipation, indigestion, stomach pain, headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect troubles you.
You must also inform your doctor immediately if you experience severe uncontrollable diarrhea with stomach pain or tenderness.

RABICIP INJECTION is a proton pump inhibitor. It reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach by blocking the actions of an enzyme called H+ K+ ATPase (also known as proton pump) which is present in the lining of the stomach walls. As a result, it reduces the chances for acid reflux into the oesophagus, heals peptic ulcers and esophageal lesions and manages its recurrence.
