Beclate 400mcg Rotacap belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used in the prevention and treatment of asthma. When inhaled, it suppresses the inflammation in the lungs and airway passage, widening the airway to make breathing easier.
 

Beclate 400mcg Rotacap is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply it thinly and evenly over the area. Avoid covering the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

To control an ongoing asthma attack, use a “reliever” inhaler. Inhaled medicines will not work properly if the inhaler is not used correctly. Ask the nurse or doctor for the right technique.

How to use Beclate Rotacap

Rotacaps must not be swallowed. Check the label for directions before use. Place the capsule at the base of rotahaler, not in the mouthpiece. Twist the mouthpiece completely until your hear a click and breathe in deeply through the mouthpiece. Hold your breath for up to 10 seconds. If some powder remains in the rotahaler repeat the process.
