Linasorin-D Tablet 10's is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. Type-2 diabetes mellitus (also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes) is a medical condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal due to insulin deficiency, insulin resistance, or both.
Linasorin-D Tablet 10's contains Dapagliflozin (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors) and Linagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor). It works by reducing the sugar production by liver cells and delays sugar absorption from the intestines. Thus, Linasorin-D Tablet 10's helps control blood sugar levels.
Linasorin-D Tablet 10's may cause certain side effects such as diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, hypoglycaemia, nausea, and vomiting. These are not common for every patient. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or bother you. Take Linasorin-D Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Linasorin-D Tablet 10's
Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Linasorin-D Tablet 10's may include low blood sugar, stomach pains, feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting) and dizziness. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Do not take Linasorin-D Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and your health condition to rule out any unpleasant side effects. Inform your doctor if you have any liver/kidney disease, heart problems, and hypertension before taking Linasorin-D Tablet 10's. Linasorin-D Tablet 10's is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Linasorin-D Tablet 10's as it might cause unpleasant side effects. It is unknown whether Linasorin-D Tablet 10's can be given to pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers. Hence, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
