Rosuvas D 10 Tablet is used to treat high cholesterol. It is a combination of two medicines that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels in the body. It may change liver function and blood sugar levels so monitor them properly. This medicine may also cause reduction in calcium levels, so have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium. Dizziness, stomach pain, muscle pain, and constipation are some other side effects associated with this medicine.

It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Rosuvastatin.
