Tacvido Forte Oral Gel is a medicine used to treat oral lichen planus. It provides relief from inflammation caused by this disease. Tacvido Forte Oral Gel works by blocking calcineurin, an enzyme that activates T lymphocytes and causes inflammation associated with lichen planus. Tacvido Forte Oral Gel should be applied on the site of lesion inside the mouth. Follow the doctor’s instruction and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. If you do not see an improvement in your symptoms after a week you should talk to your doctor. It is a safe medicine with little or no side effects. However, it may cause transient burning sensation immediately after application. In general, it should not be used by anyone who has a weakened immune system.
Tacvido Forte Oral Gel belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressive agents. It helps relieve inflammation associated with oral lichen planus. This medicine works by decreasing the production of certain chemicals that cause inflammation. Do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after application. Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
Check the label for directions before use. Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside your mouth. Refrain from eating or drinking immediately after applying the gel.
